In January, Croudace Properties commenced a major overhaul of an 11,000 sq ft office building in Amersham to provide unrivalled Grade A space for the area. The works have now been completed and the changes have been dramatic.
Externally the 1980s Neo-Georgian look has been erased and replaced with a modern brick and render aesthetic to bring the building into the 21st century. New grey aluminium double glazed windows together with a feature glazed entrance foyer complete the transformation. The building looks brand new.
Internally, flexible open plan space has been created featuring raised access floors and modern metal suspended ceilings. High specification WCs combine with the use of oak, glass and steel to give the internal areas a modern, high-quality feel.
The new services combined with improved thermal insulation will provide low running costs: energy efficient lighting, new VRV heating and cooling system, new lift and completely new electrical systems.
Aaron Glover of Croudace Properties explains, “The transformation is striking. We are delighted to have brought a completely outdated office building firmly into the 21st century. We believe we are offering occupiers the best accommodation in the area and the interest prior to Practical Completion is testament to this”.
